June 8, 2014, is National Best Friends Day, but why celebrate with just one friend when you can spread the joy to all those people who make your life better? Who can you count on to revive those perennials, manicure the hedges just perfectly and keep that grass gorgeous? Your lawn’s best friend… your gardener!
Gardeners ensure that you are able to enjoy backyard adventures with your family and friends and eliminate extra hassles and stresses from your life. So today is your day to say, “Thank you for being there for me and my family.”
It doesn’t take much to show your appreciation to your gardeners, and The Grounds Guys®, your friends in the lawn care business, can offer you a few tips:
- Ensure the lawn is free of toys, chairs or water hoses to make the lawn manicure a little faster, so more attention can be given to those flat-lined perennials.
- As for those perennials, they have to keep reviving, so ask your gardeners what they would recommend for a low maintenance, year-round shrub or flower.
- Ask them what they would recommend for maintenance on your plants and what they thought about future projects you were interested in undertaking. Letting them share their expertise and knowledge is a great way to show them you care!
- Lastly, while discussing your lawn and the future of your lawn, share a glass of ice-cold water or lemonade with them. Nothing tastes better than a refreshing drink on a hot summer’s day.
